Founder bio
Venkat Ravilla — solo founder of Storm Forge Pty Ltd, the company behind AppTree. Australian citizen of Indian origin (OCI), Sydney-based, building consumer software that respects the people using it. AppTree's products are built end-to-end with no employees, no investors, and no advertising revenue.
Differentiators
- No advertising in any product, ever. Not "fewer ads", not "ad-free Premium", not "non-intrusive ads". None.
- No external AI scoring on personal data. ForgeFit's coach is deterministic and on-device. Apna Angan's AI runs against the user's own free Gemini quota — we never see prompts or responses.
- Sunset Pledge in every contract. 90 days' notice, full data export, locally-usable source-of-record.
- Crew dignity, by design. Apna Angan calls domestic workers Crew, not Helpers, and lets them decline tasks with a reason. The Sunday Crew Report is built around respect, not surveillance.
