Apna Angan — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By installing or using Apna Angan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be 16 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s consent, to use Apna Angan.
3. Subscription and billing
Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Pricing, billing cycle, and refund policies follow Google Play’s published terms in your country. AppTree does not directly hold or process payment card data.
Introductory pricing of ₹99/month or ₹999/year applies for the first twelve months of the product’s general availability. Subscribers on the introductory price keep that price through their full annual renewal cycle. Standard pricing of ₹149/month or ₹1,500/year applies to subscriptions started after the introductory window.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time through Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play’s policy. For exceptional refund requests not covered by Google Play, contact support@apptree.com.au.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Apna Angan to harm, harass, or coerce anyone in your household, including Crew (household helpers). The Crew respect features — including decline-with-reason — are not optional. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the product against the people it serves.
6. Crew and household helpers
When a household head adds a Crew member, the Crew member retains the right to leave, decline tasks with a reason, and have their work recognised in the Sunday Crew Report. The household head may not disable these surfaces.
7. Voice and language packs
The non-English language packs (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam) are AI-drafted beta quality. Errors can be flagged from inside the app. We patch language packs on a monthly cadence with each app release.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. The Daily Story, Predictive Engine, Life Admin reminders, and 35-festival countdown are guidance — not legal, financial, medical, or religious advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppTree’s liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms, use the product to harm others in your household, or attempt to bypass billing or licensing protections. You can stop using the app and factory-reset at any time.
11. Sunset Pledge
If we ever discontinue the product, we will provide at least 90 days’ notice, an unencrypted data export of your household’s content, and (where reasonable) the ability to keep using the app in offline mode.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India for users in India, and otherwise by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, where Storm Forge Pty Ltd is registered. The Indian counterparty entity (when established) will adopt these Terms.
